I said,'well let's just hold hands..' So we did. I told him I knew his friend Tennessee Williams quite well for a time & I showed him a photo of Tennessee & I together.. He said , 'you are quite more engaging..when Tennessee was in Provincetown we just put up with him..he wasn t that fascinating.....yet... & they 'd say, 'oh here he comes....'
